About me

I am a 65 yr old Christian, mother, grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt, niece and friend.  In 1990, one month after our 30th wedding anniversary, my husband, Dick, suffered a fatal heart attack.

I have three daughters, one grandson.

I live in Oconomowoc Wisconsin, which is situated mid-way between Milwaukee and Madison.

Music plays a big part in my life, always has.  I bought my first ‘45’ in 1957 (Elvis’ Hound dog) and have been adding to that collection ever since.  My taste is eclectic - you will never know what you will hear if you walk into my house.  from Christian music to hard rock...  jazz to swing...   country to new age...  Andean music to folk..  and most music in-between.

I am an amateur photographer.  About 10 years ago I finally got around to building myself a dark room, and then I went and bought a new computer (3 computers ago) and my darkroom has since been dismantled due to disuse.  I am now into my second digital camera.

Counted cross stitch and reading were high on my list of fun things to do, but I have had to put them aside due to  vision problems.  I have macular dystrophy and I am slowly losing my vision.

I am a medical record coder at the local hospital.

I am a Civil war buff – I love to visit battlefields and read about the Civil war.

In the year  my daughter Kathie and I have ventured into the antique business.  It is keeping me very busy.

I do not consider myself artistically talented but when I bought Paint Shop Pro in 1998 I discovered that I loved putting the Lord’s Word in pictures.  I started making wallpaper for myself, then decided to share with other people.

I have been away from my graphics for over 6 years – first my grandson, Jake,  had a diving accident; then I started remodeling my house.  I have had no time and little spirit to start again until now.
